A system change is emerging at many levels in civil aviation. The objectives and issues relating to climate protection, energy and mobility require major efforts, both in research and in technology and innovation. The RTI strategy for aviation sets out goals and measures to actively shape this transformation process and establish a framework for national RTI funding. It builds on the strengths and expertise of Austrian aviation research, the aviation industry and suppliers. It responds to current challenges and trends and is oriented towards national and international strategies and initiatives. It is based on discussions with experts from Germany and abroad and strategy workshops with the core aviation team. The RTI strategy for aviation provides orientation and sets the course for Austrian activities in the coming years.<\/p>\n
